About Me

ABOUT ME

One of my jobs is data analysis at a genetics lab focused on endangered anadromous fish in the Cascade River basin in the Northwest United States.

I very much enjoy climbing mountains, but started to have altitude problems. Had an issue on the Grand Teton. I'm hoping to get back into it, next season. I also enjoy snowboarding, and have taken up skiing as well.

I also am in to crypto-currencies like bitcoin. Don't worry I'll only talk about them if you want too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's been something I've been meaning to do for years. Unfortunately when it comes to hosting I live in a place that very few people want to come, and also have many roommates that I have to check with before people can stay.

I've been traveling with a large group of people recently. Going on group trours and cruises. It's a very protected bubble. It's a very "easy" way to travel. I'm looking to get more int touch with the local scene.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed what some consider to be the three hardest state high points in the contiguous United States.

Teach, Learn, Share

When at home use lots of whites. Undergarments, sheets, wash cloths, towels. Counter intuitive but I find them very easy to clean. Little bleach and things come out white, and it stops bacteria build up in it's tracks.

Mason jars are great for many of your cup needs and food storage needs. They are cheap, reusable, and even have measurements on them.

Wet wipes. That's probably all that needs to be said on that.

Ctrl - shift - Esc will take you directly to the task manager.

Ctrl - Shift - T in Chrome and Windows will bring back a previously closed tab.

In Excel Index and Match functions are far superior to Vlookup.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I can offer good conversation. I have a wide breadth of knowledge that I am always looking to grow, but talking to other people. I want to learn the unique and hard to find things that you can tell. Hopefully I can do the same for you.
