Overview
About Me
Hi There! I’m Grayson 🤗
Formerly a national fencing coach from the USA 🤺🇺🇸
Now in London, where I work in the realm of digital health innovation ⚕️🇬🇧
To give you a bit of my personality, I asked three friends to describe me in three words:
1) Curious, trustworthy, thoughtful
2) Soulful, resourceful, kind
3) Authentic, empathetic, adventurous
I am a cheerful, tidy, and respectful guest. Space is sacred, so being welcomed into someone’s home is a special experience I cherish with gratitude. While I enjoy spending time with the host if they’d like, I also understand busy schedules and am quiet and self-sufficient. I love living life to its fullest, and hopefully that means meeting you along the adventure! 🌏
*** Couchsurfing is my place for meeting fellow travelers, not for dating. Please, no romantic intentions; there are other platforms for that 😊***
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people whilst traveling, so I decided to give Couchsurfing a try. And I love it! An exchange of cultures, experiences, and a plethora of topics that arise. Staying with someone who lives in the location has always made my trips more memorable.
Interests
I enjoy Latin dance socials, small music venues, exploring London, writing my penpals, strumming my ukulele, competing on my school’s fencing team, and catching up with friends (usually over food! food is one of my favorite ways to connect!). With that, I love to cook and bake. I’m also always learning more about religions and spirituality, which is a lifelong journey for me :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll pick my top!
Music: I really love all music (except heavy metal... sorry, I've tried but just can't get into it!). I tend to hyperfixate on a song, though, so the current song on repeat is "Heads Carolina, Tails California" by Jo Dee Messina.
Movie: Inside Out
Book: Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I converted my 2-door Volkswagen Golf for a solo cross-country road trip across the USA (47/50 States explored)! My favourite part of the setup was building a portable sink with running water in the trunk of my car.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe what we teach, learn, and share comes naturally from the connection. In the words of Ram Dass, “We’re all just walking each other home".
