Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find that life takes me to very unexpected places all the time and I always end up spending a fortune to stay somewhere last minute. Then I found out about this site and I cannot believe that I didn't hear about it sooner! This is great. I would love to give this service a try and hopefully make some wonderful connections and lifelong friends from all around the globe!

Interests

Being active. I love to hike, swim, camp, bike, play frisbee and explore.
Learning about other cultures and traveling really interests me also. I have been studying Japanese for 7 years and Chinese for 1 year and have lived in both of those countries for 4 months each. I love going out in the world and trying new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some friends and I got extremely lucky in Osaka, Japan when we all got into the Harry Potter exhibit 2 weeks before it's grand opening. It was incredible! :D
