About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page
ABOUT ME
I'm an Aussie who has been living in the UK for almost 7 years. Been in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, hanging out with the other redheads. The call of the Aussie sun has pulled me back to the southern hemisphere. Heading down to Melbourne soon
PHILOSOPHY
Travel is about meeting new people, seeing new places and experiencing new cultures. For me the less organization the better. Its all about the randomness. I like to have a few ideas in my head about what I plan to do, but only organize the bare essentials. Good on the package holiday tourist, not my scene. Half the fun is jumping on a bus or trying to find a place to stay, and the experience's on the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By being involved with other happy-go-lucky travels. Those who embrace the spirit of life and not fancy hotels.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This has been highly recomended to me by a few freinds for a while. Have done one stint in LIthuania and was very impressed. Met up with a really good group of people. Random, interesting, and fun.
Interests
love sport, however love of a drink prevents me from calling myself a fitness freak. Traveling and new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy lots of music. I'm still a little set in my 90's grunge, but will listen to almost anything.
Movies, movies; the greatest thing on earth. What would I say is my favorite. Hard to say. Possibly Last of the Mohicans, bit of a star wars nerd. like the trippy Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Action movies are usually a good thing also.
Books are almost a chapter of my life, since it takes me that long to get through one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A massive flock (Colony or cloud, had to look this up) of bats returning to a cave on a beach in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia, as the sun came up. This amazing spectacle probably seemed even more profound because I had been up all night!
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Lithuania, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, Canada, United Kingdom
