ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty friendly guy and always up for something new. Love meeting new people. Love being outdoors. Love to party. Love to travel. After spending my whole life in New Zealand I decided it was time to see the world. So in 2008 I set off for London. 2 Years later once my visa expired and I had seen a lot of what Europe has to offer, I moved with my English girlfriend to Australia. We've lived here now for about a year and a half and are loving it and exploring the country whenever we get a chance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed at many cities around Europe and co hosted people with my flat mates while living in London. Will start hosting again shortly once i'm a bit more settled in my new home town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people at our flat in London which has been great. Showing people around the city whenever I had spare time and sharing my knowledge. The people I have met have been amazing and this made me realise how much of an amazing idea couch surfing is. I've couchsurfed in many different cities in Europe and loved meeting with local people. Great times like being taken on a bike tour around Paris by Yoann and partying hitting the town in Edinburgh with Luis. So many great memories!

Love Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton, Johnny Depp.
Any old rock music is good, especially stuff from the 60s and 70s but i'm usually pretty happy to listen to just about anything.
Haven't been a big reader in the past but i'm starting to get into it. Brave New World, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Watchmen are some that I have read recently. Favourite book would have to be For whom the bell tolls!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew a plane once as a birthday present. Would love to take lessons once I can afford it!
White water rafting over the highest commercial waterfall in the world in Rotorua, the boat flipped and it was like being in a washing machine!
