ABOUT ME

We are a married couple, currently spending time in different places as Marta is traveling around South America and Tomasz is staying in Amsterdam.

About Marta:

I've studied law and nowadays I take pictures and try to be a great fashion designer. Plus my main goal is to see the world.

About Tomasz:

I'm working as designer at TribalDDB Amsterdam, however I never studied arts, I finished my BA degree in international relations. In reality I'm in all things creative, I run an online magazine about music. That's where I see myself, in between creativity, music and travels. Enjoying company of respectful and interesting people.

Tomasz:

Currently in Amesterdam but going through busy period, therefore can't host people at the moment. We used to host some great people in not so distant past and I'm pretty sure we will start doing it again soon. Once we're back and ready to host again, there is a nice couch for one person or an air mattress for two. We only require you to bring your own sleeping bag.

Interesses

Marta:

Traveling! Seeing new places and meeting people, photographing everything what inspires me, driving a van across the dessert, spending time in book stores flicking through various magazines and making wish lists, I love scuba diving and trekking too. I love airports and this excitement before visiting a new place.

Tomasz:

Traveling for sure, I love scuba diving even more than Marta! Trekking in mountains is a real bliss to me (learned it not long ago). We do have a lot in common with Marta, so I sign with both hands under what she's already mentioned, I may add though I like to cook, I love trying beers from all over the world, I love all sorts of curries, I'm a bit into documentary movies, in general I appreciate good design starting from fashion, through editorial design to product packaging. I guess that's why I design for living.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Marta:

Just to mention few movies I like, that would be Heat, Donie Brasco, Reconstruction, Death Proof, La Boum, Bridges of Madison County and all Walt's Disney cartoons (yep, there's a child inside me).

Music - The Cinematic Orchestra, Lykke Li, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles of course.

Everything will suit in a long bus/train run.

Tomasz:

It's a shame to admit, but I still need to follow up all The Beatles music Marta adores. On the other hand I'm succeeding in converting Marta to what I like! Currently that would be a lot of new experimental electronica, I'm also into pure jazz though, all good hiphop, you name it! There is so much on great music going on :)

Most of those thing we've don together during out first long trip together:

Swimming with whale sharks, climbed Thorung La pass in Himalayas, scuba dived inside a tornado of Jackfish, generally there are plenty of amazing days when traveling from place to place day after day - hard to decide what was more amazing, ah, we also climbed few volcanos!
