ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Sevrina Crane and I grew up in Washington State, U.S.A. in a very small town an hour away from the capital, Seattle. I had to take the ferry everyday and commute three hours a day in order to attend a college across the water. I am a second year College student and I considering transferring to a University in Canada. I am looking forward to this experience and furthering my education. However, I am not certain what I want my educational focus to be. I am interested in many subjects and find it difficult to narrow my focus. At the moment I am studying Mathematics, German, nutrition and fitness in my own time as I am still considering which College to attend. I have the desire to travel and learn more about other cultures and people to better determine what might be good for me. I've realized how important it is to learn more about the World around me and to take a step out of my own comfort zone. I am looking forward to the wonderful and endless possibilities of traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

In order to achieve life's goals, we have to take the first step and work with motivation and determination as well as an immense focus to pursue what we want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

*I don't have a car and use public transportaion. I am usually avaliable to show people around the Seattle area and different
locations if they have the funds needed for transportation. * I am not able to have visitors at the moment as I live with my elderly grandmother. However, once I get into Canada I will update my hosting options.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any experiences yet as I haven't traveled to any other country besides Canada. I am looking forward to my near future experiences and plan to travel as soon as the opportunity arises and I'm prepared.

Interests

I really enjoy studying, learning and exploring new topics of interest. Fitness and health, dancing (Ballet and Contemporary), writing, cooking, and meeting and learning about new people are activities in my daily life and I enjoy them with a passion.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy unusual and bizarre shows such as Tales from the Darkside, The Twilight Zone, etc. My favorite genre of movies are international films, suspense/thriller and dramas.My music ensembles include but are not limited to: Collide, Nightwish, Otep, Dimmu Borgir, Sopor Aeternus, Sarah Brightman, Mozart, and more. My favorite genres of music are metal (heavy or not) and classical music. My favorite reading materials include FATE (a magazine), anything pertaining to the supernatural/paranormal/dreams or different different experiences. Books I enjoy are Dorian Gray, The Secret Life of Bee's and my vast amount of German textbooks. I am interested in reading about World issues, human rights, Anthropology, and topics of nutrition and fitness. I like to study with every medium as I come up with new topics of interest and find it important to intellectually stimulate our mind whenever we have the opportunity.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share and teach my knowledge of cooking skills and of the German language.I could also share my knowledge of fitness exercises including cardiovascular and conditioning as well as stretching and finding our inner peace though meditation and founded philosophy to lift our spirits and promote more positive energy. I would like to practice and progress my knowledge of Mathematics and Science and of the German language. I am interested in learning any other languages one would like to share as well. I am willing to learn anything that any other individual is enthusiastic about!
