About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spain- hopefully learning some Spanish and meeting some people!

ABOUT ME

Hi,

I am from Seattle and I moved to Colorado for college where I still am. I am a recent graduate and am currently working as a technical writer for Thomson Reuters and I am trying to figure out what kind of career I want to pursue.

I love soccer, horses, food and skiing, and I have recently got into rafting. I did a private 19 day trip down the Grand Canyon last year and have done a few smaller trips as well.

PHILOSOPHY

*Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

*What doesn't kill you is just postponing the inevitable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed in Amsterdam, hosted 2 people who were visiting my college to figure out whether they wanted to attend, and have been to a few mixers. I would like to host and surf more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rolling Stones, MGMT, Lyle Lovett, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Hey Marseille, Mother Falcon,

Books: the Posionwood Bible, the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Brothers Karamazov, Catch 22, A River Runs Through It, Enders Game

Movies: I don't actually like movies that much but I loved the Great Escape and Get Him to the Greek

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a private rafting trip down the Grand Canyon. It was amazing because we saw so few people, but the people we did see were amazing. There were two stand out things: Havasu Falls which is one of the most gorgeous places on earth, and Lava Falls, the most terrifying rapid I have ever run.

Teach, Learn, Share

In Golden I can take you whitewater kayaking in the summer 2 blocks from my house. I have all of the equipment ready!

Also I can take people skiing (I don't have the equipment and this is expensive) and I'm always excited to play soccer!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Jamaica, Netherlands

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
