ABOUT ME

My passion is movement in all its forms: travels by flights, cars, trains. And, of course, the sports movement: especially skiing, biking, these are of the best ways, such a travelling, to have fun and find a good friends!
Photography - my way to focus on one of the most unique moments of movement, which is essentially a life, that's why genre photography is a favorite.
Science: Industrial archaeology and industrial heritage, anthropology of industrial region. I'm interested in developing of communication of science and arts by using photography and film making.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It is very interesting cross cultural boundaries to feel the true diversity of the world. But only genuine communication, immersion in the environment allows to experience other cultures. I think that the excursions can not replace a piece of real life in a new country.
I have experience with working and living among the indigenous peoples of the North Urals and Siberia, have 3 short documentary films about ethnic groups in Urals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have the experience of "CouchSurfing" among people who do not use the Internet. I have traveled a significant part of the Urals, and lived among the indigenous inhabitants in different places such as wooden huts, chooms (nomad's tents of skin) often in a deep forest))
But i'm newbie at CS.org...

Lehren, lernen, teilen

My scientific interest is in the sphere of industrial heritage of Urals. By analysis and using of different methods, including visual studies, postmodern approach, I want to promote our industrial heritage, to improve understanding of its cultural value by society. I hope that this will help preserve the unique monuments of industry.
