ABOUT ME

I am an archaeology and history student from Estonia striving to travel the world step by step, meeting the most amazing people on the way doing so.

While I am not travelling, I like to cycle everywhere in my lovely small uni town. I am also into cooking and although I am not a vegan, I especially love to experience with vegan cooking. I also paint and love to spend time in the nature to gather inspiration.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer my company to fellow surfers that end up in my town since I am currently unfortunately unable to host :(. But let's meet up and grab a coffee or a beer instead!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having experienced homelessness for a short time, I have surfed several couches, piles of blankets, uncarpeted floors, basements and atticks etc :).

During my travels I have couchsurferd in Amsterdam, Cyprus, Lithuania and during my hitchhiking trip from Slovenia to Denmark. I have not once had a bad couchsurfing experience, and every time I have couchsurf, it has restored my faith in humanity. Open mindnessness and helpfulness are some qualities I love the most about the Couchsurfing community, and I aim to contribute with same. I have also hosted a few people now and then, unfortunately too few, but hope to do more in the future once I have a place!

兴趣

Spontaneous happy people that travel and read, and don't walk around with their eyes wide closed. People are brilliant!

In my spare time, when I am not killing myself with schoolwork or obsessing over working out (I like jogging and swimming and all kinds of sportsy stuff), I like to draw and paint, and chill with relaxed and sweet people.

音乐、电影和书籍

Concerning books, it all started with Harry Potter, but I can carry out a discussion on most of the world classics. Lately I have been more interested in world exploring and spiritual authors (e.g Alan Watts etc). Other authors I have loved a lot: Virginia Woolf, J. D. Salinger, Tolstoi, Saul Bellow, Hemingway.

Regarding music, I enjoy a lot of studd, so the list would be too long to fit here... :-)

I can share stories about my studies i.e. explaining about how archaeology has nothing to do with Indiana Jones. :)
I can tell about my travels, my passion of trekking in wild and beautiful places, my hithhiking experiences in different parts of Europe and my travel plans to conquer Asia.
I can share with you information about my tiny little strange country next to gigantic Russia and freezing Finland.

Also I have been told that I can cook a decent meal, so I would be happy to show my gratitude for your hospitality by cooking you a meal. :)
