I am a professional French Horn Player and enthusiastic world traveler!

A little over a year ago I was fortunate enough to go on a backing trip for 7 months through Europe and Africa. I loved every minute of it! It really would not have been so great had I not been so lucky with couchsurfing! I met so many amazing people who opened their homes and hearts to me and helped me along the way. I'm not yet in a stable enough position to open my home to others but I cannot wait to in the future!

I like or can at least appreciate all music. Current favourites include: Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Andrew Bird, Tame Impala, Brasstronaut, Gorillaz, Bonobo, and Busty and the Bass.

I read a lot of high fantasy and love getting lost in a big, epic series. Aside from that I generally read fiction.

I travelled from Iceland to South Africa over 5.5 months hitting 20 other countries in between. It was my first time travelling solo and did it with a 40L backpack!

I am a professional French hornist. I'd be happy to both learn about or share my experiences with that or with music in general. I love sharing music with others! I would love to learn how to cook local dishes with hosts and share them with others as I go along my travels.
