Hi, I am originally from Melbourne, Australia. I have lived for 30 years in the U.K., France and Italy. I am a freelance wine writer and the creator of a brand new walking Path of over 1000 kilometres from Barolo in Piedmont to Beaune in Burgundy, France, called the Path of the Stars.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Building the Path of the Stars Trail through Piedmont and Val d’Aosta in Italy, Switzerland and Eastern France means I have to move around a lot while I am building the Path.

Books: very diverse taste in literature including Patrick O’Brian’s Aubry and Maturin series,, non fiction like The Land where Lemons Grow and classics like Brideshead Revisited.

Walked from Central London to Beaune in Burgundy (28 days) carrying a 25 kg backpack.
