Well, took me a while (post 30s) to cut my Canadian umbilical chord but once I did I found out the world has so much to offer. I like to take trips to warm/exotic destinations and absorb the culture, art and music for inspiration. I have to admit the Canadian winters have alot to do with when I travel - but I sure don't mind Christmas without the snow. I also produce, writer and tour with my music here and there and love sharing it with like minded individuals. I have been to over 400 concerts, performed over 1000 shows and generally just want to explore between festival season in Canada. I would say my musical and theatrical/book tastes falls in the sections where most people tend not to visit for the most part - I live to learn and feel - so if any performance, film or book can do that - it likely showed up on my radar.

Well, you will never forget the first time you hear your own music on the radio - but beyond that - I spent a couple years in Africa (South Africa) travelling, performing and absorbing/learning the culture there. Pretty cool to stay in various places there including a castle. One amazing thing I have done there was to play for children at a school and make those tiny feet dance and faces smile.
