Overview
About Me
Scotsman, studying my master's in Anthropology at Universität Leipzig.
So far I've been lucky to live in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Wrocław, Bavaria and now Leipzig.
I'll list some things I like and hope that you find something you like. If something is missing then that definitely means you should allow me to sleep on your couch so you can tell me why it's so great.
The beach, curry, spontaneous nights out, Heart of Midlothian FC, disco music, warm bread, reading a book in the sun, doing almost anything in the sun, hiking (thanks to all my German friends for showing me this), bbqs, house music, learning languages, meeting new people, Mad Men, cycling, cycling downhill, pub quizes, finishing coursework, aimlessly wandering around cities, the fact that beer costs 50 cents in Germany, Irn Bru.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It was a lot of effort to carry my sofa bed up the stairs and it'd be cool if people used it.
I love exploring different cities and doing that with locals is the best way!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When a group of 30 of us from Erasmus went to Zakopane in the south of Poland for weekend, powder snow everywhere and great company!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A bit of insider knowledge on the nice places to hang out in Leipzig.
I can happily speak with people wanting to practice English or German.
Countries I’ve Visited
