About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Currently doing a RTW trip! The plan is to do all 7 continents in 2 years!

ABOUT ME

Im 23, from a little town in Ireland called Holywood, but have recently lived, studied and worked in Edinburgh, Scotland for 5 years. I graduated from a 4 year Biochemistry course and quickly realised that being stuck in a lab all day just wasn't for me! So i took a job pursuing my hobby and passion which is rock climbing. The job was incredible fun and I managed to save enough money to start something I have always wanted to do - a worldwide adventure, so i booked tickets, flew to South America and started there. So far I have been all through the South American continent, all over North America, Fiji and Now I'm in New Zealand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am travelling and fully appreciate the kindness and generosity that people show on this site. Obviously it is more fun to stay with locals than book into a hostel! For me, meeting new people is the single most important thing about travelling!
Whenever I settle down, probably in New Zealand or Canada, my door will always be open to couchsurfers, doing so is something that will help so many people see new parts of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a newbie, never done it before on this site, but have met people along the way on my trip and stayed with them. Im constantly surprised by the generosity of people, from staying on an island in the middle of Lake Titicaca in Peru with a local family, to being brought out for a posh meal in Minnesota!

I'm pretty good at fixing computer problems, and I can coach climbing technique! I'd love someone to jam with and teach me more music theory!
