About Me

Hey guys,

after living in different citys and countries for the last 7 years I just moved back to Berlin to finish my Master studies in English and Spanish.

Since my traveling is reduced to a bare minimum due to work and studies, I look forward to host people from all around the world in order to feel at least some of those travelling vibes!

cheers

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just read a great book ('Looking for Alaska') that I will teach at school this year, in which the following quote plays an integral part:

"I go to seek a Great Perhaps"

This absolutely resonates with me, as in my view our live is a long journey and at the end all we seek is happiness, which manifests differently for each and everyone of us. For me, I find the greatest happines being surrounded by positive people, friends, and loved ones and I am always glad to add new people to this list.
So far I couchsurfed only a couple of times, but already met a ton of fantastic people while doing it. For that reason I hope to intesify hosting and traveling, in order to meet new friends and meet again with old ones, for I´m sure that the Great Perhaps is hidden in each of those relationships that make us and our lives richer.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's a ton of great music out there!! If I had to focus on a genre I'd go with easy folk/rock.......some of my favorite artists and inspirations being Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, John Butler Trio, Neil Halstead, Ben Harper, Ben Howard, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Manu Chao, Bob Marley, Mishka, The Voyces, Angus and Julia Stone.......mostly stuff that makes you dream of the next trip!

Favorite Album at the moment: Dispatch - America, Location 12

I love reading!!....in the past I read a lot of geeky fantasy stuff (Salvatore,Joe Abercrombie, Tolkien, Rowling etc.)........in the recent years and with the start of my studies I focused more on classic American Literature, some philosophy and modern fiction!.......Always open for some suggestions :).

Guess the book with the greatest impact on me was Harry Potter :D

Hard to decide......some great movies that I watched more than twice and still enjoy are: Forest Gump, The Big Lebowski, The Last of the Mohicans, Hell or High Water, Dances with Wolves

Teach, Learn, Share

i enjoy teaching/sharing:
- the languages I speak
- some basic guitar skills
- the sports that I'm into
- stories

There's so much to learn....i guess there are many things out there that I'm not even aware of...so yeah pretty much open for anything that seems interesting!
Oh yeah...I just started dancing salsa....so a little bit of practice while traveling would be awesome :)
