There is nothing more valuable than exploring a new place with the hints of a local. I love to travel and to share experiences and stories with others. After one year in East-Africa and many Europe trips, the US west coast is my next place to see.

I like to meet new people when I am traveling and welcoming strangers in your own home is just a fantastic way of doing that. I think travelling should be affordable for everyone. So if you are traveling on a low budget - what is the greatest way of traveling in my eyes - couchsurfing is just the best way to do it.

I really like independet movies which were made on a rather low budget, like "Once" with Glen Hansard. But there are also some other great movies like "The pursuit of happiness" or "Into the wild".

White water rafting on river Nile in Uganda. I actually did it four times and each one was just amazing.
