Hi! Im Gregor and currently about to finish my studies in chemistry, interested in nearly anything that i dont know about and also in some things i have a background in. Usually i have a good time hanging out with people that i have just met since my interests and hobbies are vastly scatterd, they range from reading, painting and science over weightlifting, track and field and any ballsport to playing video games and fooling around. I equally enjoy and need vivacious and silent times. Going out is fine, but i also like to hike and have conversations throughout the night. Possible topics of a conversation with me:
The movie we just watched, Auger Electron Spectroscopy, the socio-economic structure of Swasiland and why i had to eat two whole pizzas in five minutes. Serious discussions are also welcome, whatever comes to your mind :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a great opportunity to experience the real spirit of a place/country, just seeing sights and the landscape does not mean you have really visited a country. Meeting local people is the most interesting part of travelling to me as they can connect history and present for you to give an complete picture of the land and its society.

Interests

First and foremost learning something new, exploring the unknown. Furthermore i am highly interested in having a pleasent and diversified life. I really enjoy good conversations, having decent food and listening to appropriate music, preferably altogether. Especially dinner-parties are very enjoyable to me, most of the time you get to learn some new recipes/techniques and to eat delicious food with friends. Good wine/beer is also higly valued. Other than that: reading, travelling, sports, some painting and being around others.

Music: preferably something with guitars and drums (most of the time i listen to metal/rock), but as long as it is good music i can get into it.

Movies: puuh.. comedies, arty/aesthetic/good movies are so rare.

Books: mostly german (speaking) authors: Hesse, Frisch, Böll, Tucholsky, Dürrenmatt, to name some.
