I started some time ago by joining Giuze's event celebrating his 10 years of CouchSurfing, and I really liked the experience and people there so I'm really considering joining the community :)

I am a French PhD student who went to Switzerland and I liked it, so I stayed here. I work in electronics and computer science, but I also like to take time to disconnect from technology, going cycling or hiking somewhere in the weekends.

If I can, like to help people, especially if it is somehow related to something I have already been interested in and I've developed a technical ability for that. I believe in helping and sharing resources & knowledge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for every opportunity do discover something new. I feel like that Couchsurfing is one good idea for that, because I believe that people out here are quite open to new ideas and may have weird and interesting interests :)

Interests

I enjoy meaningful conversations, whether it is about science, technology or a something more philosophical or political. I like learning new things and sharing what I know, sometimes even about stuff I do not believe in (i.e. astrology).

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: crime novels; weird, unexpected and fascinating books; writing exercices, classic aventure/action

Movies: I'm a really easy going and tolerant, so most things are OK. Except Interstellar! Not Interstellar! It should burn in whichever hell that may exist! Nothing less!

Music: french folk, classic rock, rock'n'roll, salsa, and also some blues, (electro-)swing, classical, metal. It really depends on the current mood.
