I am a recent graduate from Brock University. I want to work with children and youth around the world within various environments (school systems, group homes, child care centers, etc). In the Summer I work as a camp counselor for children with various diagnoses including ADHD, and ASD which is a huge passion of mine. Now that I have completed my degree I am taking some time to travel and see new places that I have not had time in the past to see. I am currently planning on doing a trip to the East Coast of Canada where I was born to do some sight-seeing and meet new people.

My friend recommended couch surfing to me as she is an avid traveler and has plenty of experience with the couch surfing app. We are both planning on heading out east and are looking for some friendly hosts to spend some with to gain a better insight of the local areas.

Musica, film e libri

Besides working with children and youth, I have a strong interest in music. I play guitar and enjoy a variety of genres but have a preference for heavy music (metal, hardcore, etc.) and alternative/indie rock. Also enjoy film and the production of film.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Working as camp counselor has been the greatest experience for me. It is an amazing way to meet people from all over the world, both campers and camp counselors. As a counselor, I have learned a lot about understanding the emotions of young children and help guide them in achieving their goals. This not only has taught me a lot about them, but a lot about myself as well and what I can accomplish as a child/youth worker.
