ABOUT ME
Well, I guess its not surprising that growing up in this beautiful province that I love nature. I try to get out and go hiking any chance I get, regardless of how treacherous the weather may be. I've traveled through BC quite a bit through my adventures but not much elsewhere. I'm hoping to get out and see the world! Most people call me the "stereotypical Canadian" due to how open I am and how fast I can make a new friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couch-surfing because I'd rather make a new friend to show me around their city rather then staying in hotel rooms alone. It's a new experience for me and this will be my first year traveling like this!

Interests

I'm extremely in love with the outdoors!I lead a non profit hiking group called BC Hikers where I like to take people new to the sport on high altitude adventures up the mountain! Meeting new people and hearing their stories is what inspires me to get up and go exploring :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music changes every few seasons, I am a fan of everything except "scream" metal. If its an uplifting beat then odds are I will enjoy it! For movies I would have to say the entire Fast and the Furious franchise hands down. I haven't read a good book in a while but I enjoy the author, Louis L'amour.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled the great Bowron Lakes of British Columbia. It was a once in a lifetime experience with about twenty other individuals; canoeing the lakes for eleven days! I will never forget this trip and would love to do it a few times more. The mountains pointed like pyramids and the water was more blue than the sky itself! Absolutely breath-taking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some guitar or how to build a shelter to survive the night on the West-Coast!

I love learning just about anything that is new to me. I'm interested in other people's cultures and how they vary from my own. Also if you are into hiking we should totally go!
