After an exhaustive scientific double-blind study, I've discovered that the real reasons any of us are on Couchsurfing are:

A) we are cheap AF. maybe we're broke, maybe things are better when they're free, maybe it just feels damn good to stick it to the man and get free accommodation even if it means sleeping on a dirty couch where things have happened that even God cannot unsee. take that capitalism.
B) somehow, someway, this is way better than Tinder, and we will meet our soulmate here.
C) I was trying to look up directions for dinner and ended up here after learning my Patronus animal from Buzzfeed and how to cross stitch on YouTube, and I still have no idea how to get there
