HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use it to meet people in the cities I visit and if I'm lucky to find a place to sleep for a night. I tried hosting but Wisconsin isn't a big tourist destination.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met up with a ton of wonderful people but have only used it for accommodation once.

I'd like to learn a language one of these days but until then I'll settle for some cultural immersion. I enjoy football/soccer (I'm American) with my favorite team being Liverpool. From time to time I enjoy discussing politics and the worlds problems to help see things in a different light.

I love a good dystopian future story and am always willing to learn something while I read.

Usually prefer dark comedies as far as movies go but sometimes it's nice to tune out with the occasional popcorn flick.

I've got a soft spot for singer songwriters and acoustic music but can get behind most anything with lyrics.

Lived in Thailand for a few months and then backpacked across Asia.

I've got a handful of tales and some knowledge about pharmaceuticals but don't have much in the way of language skills to share. I'd be happy to teach and practice English with anyone. I'm interested in learning another language, I just need to pick one and stick to it.
