About Me

I'm new to couch surfing although I have done a little bit of travelling and slept on friends' couches.
I'm a textile artist with a passion for medieval history and a growing interest in Archaeology. I think that a creative impulse is something that can unite people and that knowing how to do/make things gives each person an inner strength and sense of independence that cannot be taken away. I love going for walks, and being in nature, or just about anywhere with good company. I'm an amateur fiddler, I love jamming and singing with other folks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be spending time in the UK this summer participating in an Archaeological Field School, and I'm planning to travel around the UK before, and Scandinavia after the dig. My hope is to make connections with new people and have unforgettable experiences.
