ABOUT ME

I am an American living in Shanghai. I have been living in China for 3+ years and loving most of it. I travel a great deal in Asia and love meeting new people and seeing new places. My hobbies are running, scuba diving, reading, video editing, and photography.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have used Couchsurfing once in Japan with a very nice guy! I learned SO much about Japan that I never would have if it hadn't been for him. I'm excited to do it again!

兴趣

I am PADI certified and love diving, although I'm far from experienced. I love playing and watching football (soccer) and love running. I love to snowboard but haven't had a chance lately. I have very eclectic tastes in art, music, and literature. I prefer things a little gritty, a little dark, and very beautiful. I love going fast and need a lot of action. I drive a scooter in Shanghai, which is about as dangerous as it gets. I love the action and adventure.

I'm not picky about music at all. I'll try anything once. My favorite movies are Crimson Peaks, True Romance, 12 Angry Men, and Pan's Labyrinth. My favorite books are At Play in the Fields of the Lord, And Then There Were None, and anything Harry Potter.

The most amazing thing I've ever done was leaving the USA and a comfortable life and living in China for years. Being an expat is an amazing experience and I would love to live abroad again.

I try to be an interesting person! I like to laugh and like to stay busy. I'm an easy guest. If you want to show me around or spend time with me, I'd love to spend time with you, but I'm also completely happy to show myself around and be independent. I have no expectations!
