I'm a dietetics major with a passion for food and culture. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy last year and learned how much you can learn from other countries. My mother calls me a perpetual student because if I had the money, I would be learning and going to school forever. Traveling has taught me more about myself and the world than I ever imagined possible. Everyone has something to give and teach; opinions, laughs, knowledge, and understanding. I hope to be a great educator and counselor in public health and nutrition one day and believe traveling and learning all over will be the key to being the best I can be.

I'm an avid runner and yogi. I love exploring, hiking, people who make me laugh, and most of all, FOOD. I love love love food. Every aspect of it and how it brings people together. I love playing Euchre and volleyball. I'm extremely interested in mythology and folklore and love reading.I would like to learn as many languages as possible in my life and see as many things as possible.

Musica, film e libri

I am a big fan of alternative music, aka, a little bit of everything. Except for bad rap, country music, and techno (though I haven't heard much). I'm open to a lot. I like movies that I can take something away from and hate movies that make me feel hopeless or exhausted. I have too many favorite books to list them here, but I'll just say that Little Bee by Chris Cleave was my most recent read, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it.

This is kind of an odd box. I'm 21. Maybe what I've done that I think is amazing won't be amazing to you. How about this: I am a 21 year old girl who cares deeply about those around her, I don't let my body define me, I've suffered many personal losses and am very close to many who also have. And I am still awake at 6 am everyday, smiling and loving my low-paying, mediocre job because I love the people I work with so much. I love all the customers I serve, and love making others happy. When I see so many people around me that are unhappy who have more, I think it is amazing that I feel I already found the key to happiness. I am lucky.

Teach me about your local cuisine and culture! Everyone has a story to share, I have one I can share with you as well. I still don't know where I would like to spend the rest of my life, you may be showing me the place I live one day!
