Hello, my name is Gretka but friends call me Gigi.
Since I left my home country, I always wanted to see the world. Travel to new places, get to know new cultures, see how other people live.

Me and my fiance quit our jobs last year and decided to travel the world. Since then we have been travelling for 2 years. We explored Southeast Asia , South America and at the moment we are on our holiday-working visa in Australia.

We want to explore our beautiful world and our mission is to show other people and other couples that it is possible to break through the stereotypical routines and follow your dreams. Life is too short and we want to experience life together, not just dream about the destination by looking at the computer screen with lovely wallpapers displaying paradise beaches. We want to visit these type of places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I am traveling around Australia and couch-surfing sounds like the perfect way to meet local people. I feel like when you go to hotels, you don't really have any contact with the local people. We also love to share our travel stories with other people :)
