ABOUT ME

Hello people! While I'm not at the moment able to offer you hosting, I am looking forward to be your guide, should you come and visit the Loire valley! Be it chateaux, wine cellars or just a quick overview of the neighbourhood, I will gladly share my knowledge of local history, geography and local specialities!

PHILOSOPHY

It looks like I'm never stressed, and always ready for a good laugh! I always seem to take life easy as it goes. Oh, it's not that easy, but... no need to bother you with this!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a very good friend of mine on this site - she thought I was a touristic guide and wanted me to show her around Tours. She was not too disappointed, and we visited several places since then!

兴趣

My main interests are music (especially metal, post-rock, and other amplified musics), history and architecture, photography, and computer-related stuffs. But I am curious and willing to learn anything about everything!

Movies : in total disorder, Monty Pythons, Apocalypse Now (probably my favorite movie), some old classics (like Citizen Kane), some foreign movies (Fatih Akin comes first to my mind), and any strange and unknown B-movie, from Plan 9 from outer space to Return of the killer tomatoes. Also, Le grand détournement.

Music : Post-rock, Metal, Punk, and any other stuff that falls into my ears from an independant radio. For example, Sigur Ros, Mono, Isis, Neurosis, Cult of Luna, Metallica, Therion, Motorhead, Dream Theater, The Gathering, Anathema, Dropkick Murphys, NOFX. You don't know any of these bands? I'll be glad to share. I usually can find at least one you'll like!

Books : currently reading short stories by Bulgakov, in Russian and French.

Special things I have done... I have traveled 7000 miles twice to meet my girlfriend, I have let down my job as an engineer to study about culture and heritage... Dunno, if you think that's not special enough, I'm open to any proposal of new things to do!
