ABOUT ME

Five years in the the SF Bay Area did me in, so now I'm en route to my new a permanent home in New York City (because California wasn't expensive enough). I hope to struggle with my art as much as possible for the romance of it.

PHILOSOPHY

I suppose my personal philosophy is my travel philosophy--see what I see, not have too many expectations about it; patience. And damnit babies, you've got to be kind.

I love how couchsurfing has revolutionized travel, has made seeing the world accessible to more folks than those who can afford to "holiday" and re-oriented the idea of travel from a visit to an act of community building.
