ABOUT ME

I'm a good person, and love to learn new things, I play guitar, I learn languages for fun, I usually travel with friends, and we love to shake up beaurocrats and see what falls out, social pranks, impromptu festivities, fierce concoctions... the good stuff... I'm respectful of everyone I meet, and a low maintenance guest. I try to leave spaces cleaner than I found them, and make friends anywhere I go.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

cook and keep the vibe magical and good, lighthearted, lightfooted, musical, and good with my hands. I've been a massage therapist for 13 years, and had the privilege to briefly teach at one of the most unique and well respected schools in the world, The Heartwood Institute.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

informally all my life as host and surfee, the couple times I've surfed or hosted on here have been magical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in 500 plus 5 magnitude and above earthquakes, had the good fortune to have a front row yet safe seat to a crazy civil war in el salvador as a child, I've built my own house, lived off the grid, grown my own food, and taught children to brush their teeth, I''ve, in one life, owned both a bidet and an outhouse, but never at the same time... of all these I'm happiest with the toothbrushing adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone the basics of massage/energy work, and related anatomy, kinesiology, and physiology... I'm also an excellent Spanish/English translator, teacher, interpretor, Permaculture, basic guitar, Apple Computers and anything related to OS X, macrame, bicycles.
