ABOUT ME

I am 23 yrs old, grew up in the Southern Californian beach community called the South Bay. LA and Hollywood are 30 minutes away. Mexico is 3 hours south. I met my girlfriend, ilana in college at UC Berkeley. She is doing study abroad in Cordoba, Spain. I am meeting up w/ her and hoping to have the best time ever. I am an amateur photographer. Landscapes, portraits, events, sports, news, I shoot it all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new to this site. I have hosted travelers from all over the world at my family home over many years. I have traveled more than most people, usually by boat: many cities in Baja Mexico, every country in Central America, Israel, New Zealand. I have never been to Europe, Africa or Asia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a major in sociology, so if you want to talk about social issues in Latin America I have plenty to say (although it has been over a year since i graduated so my facts may be a bit rusty...). my girlfriend Ilana is going to be a senior at Berkeley and she is majoring in psychology, so her knowledge of current studies is a little fresher than mine! her focus is in social pscyhology, such as relationships, love, kindness and altruism.

and skills-wise, i am a photographer so i can give advice on that. ilana loves to cook so if you are interested in a little california cuisine she can make a tasty meal!
