ABOUT ME

I am originally from France, lived some years in the States, some in Ireland, and others in Australia. Did masters in natural resource management and marine biology/ecology and soon after travelled for a good while down from Ethiopia to Cape Town where I ended up finding a job with some environmental consultants… The career chase didn’t last too long. Few whiskies later with a friend managing Longstreet Backpackers and peaceful flashbacks of this delightful little coastal emerald creek town on the coast of Kenya which we’d travelled through two years earlier … and there was suddenly no chance we weren’t headed back there.
It was time for dreams to come true, nuff sterile babylon office jobs and concrete jungles. Kilifi seriously needed a budget place for travellers to meet up and I’d always dreamt of running an environmentally sound project. We called it ‘Distant Relatives eco-Lodge & backpackers’, we’re located along the creek in a little green paradise and all are welcome, even just for a drink!
