ABOUT ME

I'm a student, a traveller, a so-so guitarist...

I am studying Social Sciences and History right now. Hailing from the south of Germany (big beer tents, big beer mugs...) I studied in a city in the north-western part (Bielefeld). I like travelling (who would have guessed) and learning new languages. Also I have been active in the students' union at my university where I tried to make my university a better place for living and studying. This spring I am passing my time as an on/off intern and traveller.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am quite new to CS. Created the account in 2010 but only started discovering how great it is since summer 2011. I'm looking forward to making a lot of nice experiences.

兴趣

__playing and listening to music. Especially interested in post-rock, post-metal, folk rock; however I am very open to a lot of different genres and styles. I enjoy playing on my acoustic, electric and bass guitar

__travelling and living abroad. I just returned from Bolivia where I interned at a large German NGO. I also studied in Vilnius, Lithuania. Soon I will be living a couple of weeks in Brussels.

I like the macabre satire of Friedrich Dürrenmatt and the rubble literature of Heinrich Böll. I still have to find time to actually finish a Pynchon novel. My favorite novels are probably Trambo's Johnny Got His Gun and Hemingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls.
