PHILOSOPHY

Feel that people are the same the world over and it is only man's insanity which puts distress and differences on and between us. A smile, food &drink, family, shelter and a belief system seem mostly universal.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Providing the opportunity for a meal or a visit to some of the places out of town which are difficult to get to without transport. Basically a car/drive host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met some really interesting folks from around the world. And yes, have couch surfed in India which, when I told folk of my own demographic, where and what I was going to do .... one of the better experiences and decisions I have ever made.

Trekked to see Orangutans in a forest reserve area near Bukit Lawang, north of Medan, Sumatra. Plus couch surfed in India as a senior traveller.
