Overview
About Me
Hi all! my name is Guido, I am an academic and a sound designer. I live in my hometown, Milan, although I have lived in England and in Australia during my studies. I have a job that I love at an international fine arts academy here in Milan, and I have recently moved with my lovely cats Pollo and Mango into a new apartment in a central area of the city and very well connected, which I would love to share with other travellers. When I don't work, I study for my PhD (Sound Art), see my friends, dance tango, and volunteer as ambulance paramedic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to do Airbnb a lot, but now I'd rather share hospitality and experiences without involving any money. I moved into my apartment very recently and I would like to share it with a community of people who are open-minded and inclusive.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a thing for minimalist music, which I also study and practice in my academic research. I also like Italian indie songwriters, but my musical tastes go with phases, this is my current phase :).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I ate a 1.2Kg Fiorentina steak all by myself. I still consider it one of my greatest life-achievements.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am happy to take you to tango places or to cool concert places in Milan, as well as teaching you how to cook some Italian dishes that I like.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Exactly what I would ask my guests: an open mind, curiosity about different cultures, mutual respect, and to have a laugh.
