我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Cuando viajo, siento que quedarme en casas de locales me hace conocer mejor el lugar (pueden darte muchos consejos), con más extensión (me gusta ir más allá de "lo turístico") y profundidad (hace que la experiencia sea más intensa). Sobre todo, te ayuda a romper con prejuicios. Por si todo eso fuera poco, abarata los costos de un viaje, y te ahorra tiempo en averiguaciones.

Cuando recibo gente o les muestro mi ciudad, siento que hago un pequeño viaje sin moverme. Me gusta mucho mi país y mi ciudad, y trato de conocer a ambos en profundidad. Me gusta compartir eso que sé y siento con la gente.

When I travel, I feel that staying at locales makes me know the place better (they can give you tons of advices), wider (I like to go "beyond touristic") and deeper (the experience is more intense). Above all, it helps you breake prejudice. As if all that wasn't enough, it makes a trip cheaper, and it saves you time finding out things to do at the place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

3 meses recorriendo desde Colombia y Venezuela hasta México, y couchsurfing estuvo presente en gran parte de mi viaje. Las experiencias fueron buenas o excelentes, nada malo me pasó.

Una amiga hecha en mi visita a Orlando, USA en 2013, quien en 2015 me alojó en su casa.

Muchos amigos visitaron mi ciudad y los llevé a conocerla!

3 months traveling from Colombia/Venezuela, all the way up to Mexico. My experiences were either good or excellent, no bad comments to make. I think Couchsurfing is great!

I made one good friend on my visit to Orlando, USA back in 2013, and then she hosted me at her place on my last trip there, in 2015.

Lots of friends came to my city and I showed them around!

Cine: en general prefiero las películas intensas, que intentar dejar un mensaje.

Libros: Filosofí­a, Historia, y literatura estadounidense y latinoamericana.

Music: I love it all; I can hardly find an exception to that.

Cinema: I usually prefer intense movies that try to leave a message.
