Hello! We are a couple, Sofia and Guilherme, and we are two young artists from Porto, where we studied painting.

We love to travel and we’re always trying to do it as much as we can. We really like to experience different cultures and ways of viewing the world.
Being artists, probably one thing that defines us is the love for art. When we say art we include painting, sculpture, literature, multimedia, theater, cinema, music, architecture, ...
Another thing we can say about ourselves is that we love to talk and discuss about many things, art, philosophy and psychology are topics that we love, but anything fits, a good exchange of ideas is always welcome. We’re always talking.

We are culinary enthusiasts, always looking for new flavors and new dishes. We love to cook, so we are always willing to offer a great dinner! Portuguese, Angolan or any other dishes that we’re adding to our menu (vegan included).

Last but not least, we love to go out and dance all night. Together we founded Vertigo - a collective based in Porto - through which we organize art exhibitions and raves. If you have the luck to catch one you could dance to Sota’s (Guilherme) music and contemplate Sofia’s curatorial work :)

We think the best way to experience a new place is to know the locals and what they have to share, because we prefer a true and honest perspective, away from the overly artificial tourist attractions.

We are very interested in many different things.

Guilherme loves cinema from all around the globe (Kiarostami hits him on a weak spot), great authors like Henry Miller and Philip Roth, and artists like Picasso, Rembrandt, and Bacon.
Being also a Dj it’s hard to enclose an Artist but good electronic music from different ethnic backgrounds is a constant fascination.

Sofia on her side is an classical music enthusiast (mostly while painting), although mixing it with electronic music from techno to tarraxo. She’s fascinated by the dance, theater and performance world aswell. She loves to read to, mainly philosophy books. And poetry, of course.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hitchhiked across Portugal and camped in deserted beaches.

We slept in a room inside Santa Maria della Vittoria’s church, in Rome, drank with the priest and strolled around the empty rooms.

We slept in the Sahara’s sand in Morocco with nothing but our clothes on (extremely windy but definitely interesting).

A bunch of other things that for now we don’t remember but that’ll probably pop-up alongside a cheeseboard or a glass of wine.
