ABOUT ME

I'm calm and a bit quiet. I think I'm a kind of flaneur, I love taking pictures in the cities, the architecture, the people and other interesting things.

I love talking about different artistic formats: like painting, sculpture, photography even more like the mixture of these creations. I love to talk about movies, in college or in a bar table.

I do not refuse a coffee and a conversation with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe it is important to go beyond an ordinary life (work, studies and other things). We need to get out of the routine and experience other ways of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I take the CS as a guest or as a host. I have not done a lot of traveling but I intend to do them so I'm participating in the network, for I see as a way to meet people with different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some people in my home, it was good a experience, manly with the foreing people, with french guys, with an american girl and two argentines.

I´d like to travel more and now I'm planning a big trip around Latin America.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

One of the directors who enchants me most is Wim Wenders. I like Michael Haneke, Andrei Tarkovsky, Jacques Tati, Lars Von Trier, Almodovar, Herzog, Stanley Kubrick, Ingmar Bergman, Hou Hsiao-Hsien, Alejandro Jodorovski and others.

Brazilians directors: I like Cao Guimaraes, Karin Ainouz, Marcelo Gomes, Eduardo Coutinho, Walter Salles, and others.

Authors inspire me as Machado de Assis, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, Fernando Pessoa, Guimaraes Rosa, Hilda Hilst, from foreign read little and pretend to know more than Albert Camus, I like Jean Paul Sartre, William Gibson, Charles Baudelaire and others.

About the music preferences I have very eclectic, popular brazilian music, I like to listening to british bands as Radiohead too.

My favourite photografers are Miguel Rio Branco, Andreas Feninger, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Andre Kertesz, Alfred Stieglitz, Jacques Henri Lartigue, Martin Paar and many others.

The most amazing thing I've ever done was to walk for for 9 days around Ilha Grande.
