Hey!

I am a 23 year old student in Mathematics and about to finish a research internship in Buenos Aires.

I'll be travelling for the next two months by my own in South America and hope to meet a lot of new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I want to meet new people. I like the idea of pure sharing that drives the community.

I hope that I'll meet great people during my trip, who I can host back as soon as September in Europe!

Interests

I try to find beauty wherever I can, and this led me to be passionnate about music, travelling and maths (yes, maths are beautiful!).
One project that I am working on (still experimental...) is to use probabilistic models to produce live visual animations in reaction to electronic music.

I also have a beer-centered philosophy. In my experience, beer is the friendliest of all drinks. As far as I can recall, each time I met a great person, there were pints on the table.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dostoievski was kind of a punch in the face. Never got back from the Karamasov brothers...
Also French and eastern european literature from the 20th century: Camus, Pérec, Sartre, Hesse, Kundera...

Nils Frahm is my favourite musician at the moment. A beautiful combination of piano, synths and improv.

Not a big movie connaisseur, but love Xavier Dolan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For those who know this little rock, I climbed mount Ben Nevis up and down in 3 1/2 hours.
