About Me
I'm a 20 yo boy from France trying to travel and meet new people along the way. I just graduated in Law, but what I love the most is learning new languages. I speak 2 foreign languages for the moment and I would be glad to practice with you! I consider myself open-minded and respectful. I appear a bit shy at the beginning but I'll very talkative once at ease ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even though I enjoy what one would call the "common way" of traveling, it gets boring if you don't manage to really connect with locals. What makes a place and a journey enjoyable are not only landscapes or architectures but the persons you meet. But sometimes it's quite difficult to approach a group or a person, because you might disturb, while Couchsurfing makes it easier. I've been trying to push my own limits and step out of my comfort zone in the past few years. After traveling across Europe hitchhiking, or biking in France with some friends, I would like to try to experience a new way of traveling, without someone I know well by my side.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically wise, I really enjoy old bands such as The Rolling Stones, U2, Fleetwood Mac or The Eagles. I also really like Tame Impala, David Bowie, Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, and many more. By the way, a note to those interested, I can make you discover some Estonian and Polish songs if you are into some nordic stuff ;) Since I'm always craving to listen to new artists and sounds, I would really appreciate if you would take some time to make me discover your type of music!
When it comes to the movies, I really dig "road movies" such as Into the Wild, Green Book, or Wild. I've never been disappointed by a Clint Eastwood or a Meryl Streep Movie. So when both actors are reunited it's an obvious match. I think I watched "The Bridges of Madison County" 7 or 8 times and never got tired of it, one of my all times favorite for sure. British humor never fails to make me laugh, so every time I have a bad day I watch either Bridget Jones or a movie with Hugh Grant such as Notting Hill Notting Hill or Four Weddings and a Funeral. On an other register, I'm also a fan of horror movies. Some because the plot works out well and they're actually scary, and some because they own a great deal of ridiculousness.
Sadly I don't read a lot, mostly because I don't take the time to do it, but I'm reading Keith Richards biography for fun at the moment and it's filled with stories and anecdotes to die for.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I just spent a year in Estonia for my studies, and the Baltic countries left me craving for more. Even though I had absolutely no idea of what to expect from this part of the world except being cold and eventually on a waiting list for a liver transplant following a severe vodka intoxication, this year turned out to be the more intense of my life so far. I met countless people from countries I could not even map correctly and spent my time doing the things that I love, being discovering places and speaking foreign languages.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you french, even though I'm not the best professor because I never know where to start when people ask me to do so. If you already know a bit of it, I would be glad to chat with you, it's always adorable to hear foreign accents, so don't be scared ;) As far as I know french people have the reputation to be great cookers. I think you should lower a bit your expectations if you expect me to cook a three-course meal worthy of a restaurant, but I can manage to concoct something tasty. Sharing conversations around a meal, a bonfire or along the road is probably one of my favorite things. I can appear a bit shy at the beginning but there's a chatterbox hidden that loves to share and listen to bizarre from funny stories all day long.
