ABOUT ME

At the moment traveling is the main motivation for my decisions.
I like meeting new people to confront our ways of thinking and living. It may be difficult sometimes to fully speak your mind but it's much more interesting than lying to each other.

I like sportive challenges like going on long hikes, bike-trips, but otherwise I'm not much of a sports guy ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I just arrived in a new country/town/place and am just setting up.
It's not possible to host yet but I'm willing to meet people and why not go on activities together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered CS when planning trips to Asia, Europe and Russia, in the beginning of 2011.
And all the people I've met thanks to CS have been very nice, I hope I'll be able to host them in France when I'm back there.

Interests

I like going out and drinking with friends. Also meeting new people.
I like listenning to different kind of music, although people sometimes say I have odd tastes ; maybe it has to do with me playing the violin? At the moment I'm trying to learn the guitar - it's not easy but I won't give up! If you have any experience you want to share I'd love to hear from it.
I love reading, my preference goes to SF and Fantasy novels as well as fiction from 19th century.
I dream of being able to speak so many languages: I'm working on it but I'm still far from achieving this goal!
Cinema: so many things I like, from B movies to blockbusters, animation and classics.
Other than that, I'm really passionate about History, and I've been told after a few drink I'm into philosphy, hope that won't disturb you ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being surrounded - waiting in an enclosure -by Komodo dragons : it's like a child's dream, meeting dinosaures ; and a perfect reminder that there are still things on Earth that are worth discovering.
Also, while hitchhiking in Mongolia we were picked up by around 30 people who didn't speak English and took us on a 3 days trip with them: killing and eating a sheep, going on a pilgrimage to a temple and singing songs from our countries... Amazing experience

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to exchange some travels' memories/advices with other, and also to teach French.
Otherwise, I like talking and learning about History.
