ABOUT ME

I'm Guillermina, but no one calls me that! To everyone, I'm Guille, and to those close to me, Gui. I'm 35 years old and a Visual Communication Designer.
I'm one of those people who likes a thousand different things, but at the same time, they all overlap. I design, take photos, and I like DIY :). I love music on a whole new level, from many different genres. My Spotify playlists are very random, haha. I love singing; I've had several bands over the years (none of them very well-known, haha). I'm a fan of good conversation, a meal, a drink, and also of going out, dancing, and enjoying good company :).
I don't know if it's right for me to say this, but I have good vibes and friends everywhere :). And although it's not my favorite thing to do, I'm pretty good at cooking :).

Soy Guillermina, pero nadie me llama asi! Soy Guille para todos, y para los más cercanos Gui. Tengo 35 años y soy Diseñadora en Comunicación Visual.
Soy de las personas que le gustan mil cosas diferentes pero que al mismo tiempo se cruzan. Diseño, saco fotos, me gustan los DIY :). Amo la música a otro nivel, muchos géneros distintos, mis listas de spotify son muy random jaja. Amo cantar, he tenido distintas bandas a lo largo de los años (ninguna conocida jaja). Fan de una buena charla, una comida, algo de beber y también de salir pasear, bailar y disfrutar en buena compañía :)
No se si está bien que lo diga yo pero tengo buena vibra y amigos por todos lados :) . Y aunque no sea lo que más me guste hacer me defiendo bien en la cocina :)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a calm, organized, cheerful, and loving person. I don't like to argue or fight. I always prefer to laugh and have fun with the people around me.
I like this style of travel because it allows to explore different places with locals and make lots of friends from all over the world!

Soy una persona tranquila, ordenada, alegre, cariñosa, no me gusta discutir ni pelear, prefiero siempre reír y divertirme con la gente que tengo cerca.
Me gusta este estilo de viaje porque permite conocer distintos lugares de la mano de gente del lugar y da la posibilidad de tener muchos amigos por el mundo!

I'm an Argentinian traveling through Europe. I'd love to explore places with locals! Make new friends and create wonderful memories! :)
Right now, I don't have my own house to host guests, but when I get settled in, I will be able to!

Por el momento no tengo un lugar propio para recibir personas, pero cuando me asiente podré recibirlos!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several years ago, I visited Brazil through Couchsurfing, and it was a beautiful and enriching experience. I met very kind people who welcomed me into their homes like a friend would do. I'll always be grateful for that! Then I stopped traveling that way, and now I want to relive that experience, but in Europe! I hope we can meet and share it all!

Hace varios años visité Brasil de la mano de Couchsurfing y fue una experiencia hermosa y muy enriquecedora, conocí gente muy amable que me abrió las puertas de su casa y me recibió como un amigo lo haría, siempre estaré agradecida por eso! Luego no viajé más de esa manera y ahora me encuentro queriendo retomar esa experiencia pero en Europa! Ojalá podamos conocernos y compartir!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music; I can't live without it. For as long as I can remember, it's been there, filling my soul.
As a child, I sang for many years in my town's choir and then had my own cover bands: rock, R&B, and pop. Until recently, I sang in an alternative rock band and also had a cover band to work on cruise ships (something that never happened). There, I sang in all styles: cumbia, tango, funk, R&B, pop, rock, and more!
I'm a fan of electronic music, and there's always a set to suit the mood of the day :). I've always fantasized about being a DJ and took a few classes :)
Artists I like, to name a few—the list is endless! Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Madonna, Sade, hits from the 90s and 2000s, and many Argentinian and Latin American artists. As for movies, I like comedies, romantic comedies (haha), crime movies, and cult classics.
As for books, I'm poor; I wish I had the motivation to dive into a book!

Amo la música, no puedo vivir sin ella. Desde que tengo recuerdos ha estado presente llenándome el alma.
Canté muchos años de niña en el coro de mi pueblo y luego tuve mis bandas de cover de estilo rock, r&b, pop. Y hasta hace poco cantaba en una banda de rock alternativo y también tenía una banda de covers para trabajar en cruceros (que nunca se dio el trabajo) ahí cantaba todos los estilos: cumbia, tango, funk, r&b, pop, rock, y demás!
Soy fan de la música electrónica y siempre hay algún set que acompañe el mood del día :) . Siempre fantaseé con ser dj y tomé algunas clases :)
Artistas que me gustan, por nombrar algunos porque la lista es infinita! Black Sabbath, Whitsnake, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Madonna, Sade, hit de los 90 y 2000, y muchos artistas argentinos y latinoamericanos
En cuanto a películas me gustan las comedias, las comedias románticas jaja, las policiales, y las de culto.
En tema libros estoy pobre, ojalá tuviera la motivación de perderme leyendo un libro!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One cool thing I did was backpack through northern Argentina with 16 friends! There were a lot of us, but we had a great time!
Another great thing I'm proud of was having the courage to leave everything I had at home and come to Europe to live and explore this part of the world.

Algo genial que hice fue viajar al norte argentino como mochilera con 16 amigos! éramos un montón pero la pasamos genial!
Otra cosa genial de la que siento orgullo de mi fue animarme a soltar todo lo que tenía en mi país y venir a Europa a vivir la experiencia de vivir y conocer esta parte del mundo!
