About Me
[TRAVELING AT THE MOMENT]
Once upon a time (back in 2008), I was a fearless Couchsurfer, crashing on strangers' couches, sharing laughs, and collecting travel stories like Pokémon. Then life happened—jobs, responsibilities, maybe even a few too many nights in hotels with predictable mini-fridges.
But now? I'm ready to dive back in! I miss the spontaneity, the unexpected adventures, and the joy of meeting amazing people from around the world. So if you’ve got a comfy couch (or even an uncomfortable one, I’m flexible), let’s make some new stories together!
Let me know if you want it tweaked further!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve tried the whole 'grown-up' way of traveling—hotels, Airbnbs, maybe even a hostel or two where I pretended to be 21 again. But nothing beats the real magic of Couchsurfing: meeting incredible people, sharing stories, and getting a true local experience (plus, let’s be honest, hotel lobbies are painfully boring).
I love the idea of turning a simple couch into a gateway to new friendships, unexpected adventures, and possibly the best travel recommendations that no guidebook could ever offer. So here I am, back in the game, ready to swap stories and maybe even cook you a meal as a thank-you for letting me crash!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a full-on cinephile—give me an existential crisis wrapped in a surreal love story, and I'm happy. My all-time favorites? Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Michel Gondry at his best) and Adaptation (because Charlie Kaufman is a genius).
But don't get me wrong, I also love the kind of movies where things explode for no reason—Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, and all the beautifully absurd chaos that Michael Bay brings to the world. Basically, I can appreciate both deep, thought-provoking cinema and the art of a perfectly timed explosion.
Also, I’m a grown-up (at least legally). I have strong opinions about politics and religion, but I’m not here to fight about them. As we say in France, I'm always up for 'refaire le monde autour d'un verre'—which is just a fancy way of saying, let’s have a drink and fix the world with words (because that totally works, right?).
