Interests

My biggest interests are science, films, music and literature. I'm also very interested in traveling and knowing as much as possible about different cultures and differents ways of seeing the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite bands/artists are Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Animal Collective, Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, Björk, Spinetta, etc. Mostly I listen to alternative and experimental rock. But I'm open to listen a wide variety of genres and styles.

Some of my favorite directors are Alfonso Cuarón, Denis Villenueve, Quentin Tarantino, Alejandro Gonzales Iñárritu, Asghar Farhadi, David Fincher, Stanley Kubrick, Jim Jarmusch, Bong Joon-Ho, Wes Anderson, Martin Scorsese and Hayao Miyazaki. Among my favorite films are: Y tu mamá también, Inglourious Basterds, Frances Ha, Manhattan, Taxi Driver, Into the Wild, Children of Men, Babel, Motorcycle Diaries, The Before Trilogy, Donnie Darko, Manchester by the Sea, Oslo August 31th, Drive, and many, many more. I basically love movies and it's one of my favorites topics for conversations.

As far as books I love latinamerican and anglophone literature. Some of my favorite writers are: Julio Cortázar, Jack Kerouac, JD Salinger, Friedrich Nietzsche, David Foster Wallace, Jonathan Safran Foer, Jorge Luis Borges, Juan Rulfo, Roberto Bolaño, Kazuo Ishiguro, Oscar Wilde and José Saramago.

I'm interested in improving my german, and I speak fluently spanisch and english so I'm very open in trying to learn and teach languages by talking with all sorts of people.
