About Me

ABOUT ME

Fun, friendly, good for a conversation. Down to both chill or do things any time. Although I've been living in cities for a while, I enjoy being in the nature more than anything, so I'm always down to take a walk in the mountains or a swim in the sea. I love animals too, specially dogs and cats. My dream is building my own house and growing a garden to eat from.

I don't have references because we were using my good friend Max's profile https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/maximoplo

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This society tends to isolate people, fostering values of individuality and distrust, and turning everyone into buyers-sellers. I believe in solidarity, in lending a hand to someone in need, and in seeing people as I community with whom you share your things and your experiences.

Interests

I have got really interested into social movements, the ability of people to organize themselves and creating wonderful whings on their own... Plus, I love music, particularly techno and rock n roll, travelling, especially with a camping tent, reading all kind of stuff, imagining possible worlds... and a good conversation with a beer, of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of all music, movies and books (although I've been getting lazy to read books lately) so it's hard to say. In music, I like the Beatles (the Beatles!!), the Rolling Stones, Cream, Pink Floyd, JJ Cale... and that list could go on forever. I love techno music too (I DJ myself), particulary sounds from Detroit, industrial, and fussions with ambient and noise. In movies I love Kubrick, Coppola, the first Ridley Scott... and also very interested in independent, low-budget cinema. In books, I've been reading mostly philosophy, political theory, political ecology and so on like Thoreau, Rahbi, Holloway, Taibo...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to say right now... I guess life as whole itself is the most amazing thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can shares my tales and experiencies around the world, my points of view about all different topics, a lot of good music (I can DJ in parties if anyone is interested haha), cooking (I like to think that I'm a great cook), and offering a place to stay wherever I'm living in that moment.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Tunisia

Countries I’ve Lived In
