About Me

I am a gallivanting business consultant and researcher on energy and environment. I am committed to impacting my community and society for good by changing the way we live and interact with each other. Thanks to my studies and work I have lived in four different countries, which has also allowed me to learn from other cultures and societies, I still have much to learn in this journey we call life. Being openminded and respectful of others is very important to me. I love learning new languages, I am fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and Italian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I identify with the core spirit of CS, because when I visit a new place I love meeting its people firsthand, walking its streets, tasting its food, listening to its sounds, feeling its pulse. I am always willing to lend a helping hand and one day I want to be blessed enough to have a friend in each corner of the world. “Freely you have received, freely give”

Interests

I have a passion for learning and teaching new languages. Feel free to ask me for lessons and make our experience more engaging.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music and in various languages, but I especially like folk and indie music in english from the 60s to the 90s.

In therms of books I like romances and fiction, especially from Latin American authors and the magic realism movement, I also like reading short horror and sci-fi stories, philosophy and art history. I have become fond of reading spiritual literature which has helped me gain perspectives on faith through difficult stages in my life.

My favorite film(s) is The Lord of the Rings and from watching it at an early age I also became a fan of Tolkien and his extended works. I believe the book and subsequent films are one of the greatest pieces of recent popular culture.

Current reads:
-La Sierra y el Viento by Gerardo Cornejo (Short stories about life in Northern Mexico and the Sonoran-Arizonan border)
-Find Follow Fulfill God’s Will by Andrew Wommack.
-Sort of Rich by James Wilcox.
