ABOUT ME

I live in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara -yes, it's not Istanbul :) I work at a university here. I moved here in 2003 to study at university.

I spend the weekdays generally in the campus, which is great. At the weekends, I go out with my friends. I have wonderful friends :)

I like smiling, meeting people and spending time with them. I'm a people-person, sometimes too social for my friends :)

PHILOSOPHY

Just be good. It's not hard. Just be yourself and you will find the goodness inside.
And when you are happy, tell this to the people. You will make them happy as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thanks to a friend.
My first experience was hosting an Australian in Prachatice, Czech Republic, where I was living at that time. It was an interesting experiece since it was a very small town and I was not the local there at all :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several people and surfed a couple of times. They were all nice experiences and I'm still in touch with most of those people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some nice words in Turkish ;) and share whatever I know/have/experience.
I can cook for the people and teach some traditional meals as well. But I need to be really motivated to go into the kitchen :)
I can also teach some people that we also write in Latin alphabeth :))
