ABOUT ME

I am a PhD student in Sociology. It seems like I have been studying for almost all my life now. But I like it and I also like to teach. I am sociable person and I like meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy the life. Even when trying to finish very important studies. I will be traveling this summer while finalizing my thesis and trying to submit in September.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined the CS a few years when my boyfriend at that time, now my husband told me about it. But I have never traveled and stayed with people through CS. May be because we have been traveling mostly to Kyrgyzstan and I could find places to stay through my relatives and friends. Informal couchsurfing, I would say. We will be able to host but only from end of September. At the moment, we are moving out of our house and will be with no home for a few months.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never stayed somewhere through CS. But I have traveled a lot and stayed with friends and relatives in different places in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.

Interests

I like reading fiction books but mostly in Russian. I go to yoga classes but still think I am beginner in it. I also like aerebics. My new favorite is Zumba. I really love Zumba classes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like contemporary women writers such as Tokareva, Ulitskaya. I read all fiction books in Russian language. Still enjoy watching Russian, and not only, Soviet movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was really impressed by the south part of England, Cornwall. It is one of my favorite places in the UK. I love the seaside and the light there.
