Got so many friends with lots of couchsurfing experience, but never tried it myself, so I will give it a shot now.

met lots of people around the world, seen lots of fantastic places, a look at himalaya mountains probably being one of the highlights, as well as going down the Mont Blanc mountain on my snowboard
