Books: Toni Morrison is amazing, Alice Walker, Camus, Kafka, John Williams. All-time favourite book is probably The Northern Lights by Philip Pullman.

I read a lot of non-fiction too, mainly about politics, music, and cultural theory. A recent highlight has been Capitalist Realism by Mark Fisher.

Films: My Life as a Courgette is awesome! I’ve been getting into sci-fi recently - stuff like Under the Skin, Snowpiercer, Sunshine, Blade Runner. Also should mention the hilarious old films by the Marx Brothers (I’m named after one of them in case you were curious about my weird name).

I'm happy to teach a couple of chords on the guitar and some funky bass. I make a pretty great homemade pesto pasta or a veggie curry. My previous job involved quite a lot of DIY so I can try and help out with any odd jobs you might have.

Interesting conversation about music, politics, contemporary culture (especially complete trash). I’m a pretty decent cook, and I’m probably happiest when eating and drinking with old and new friends . It’s probably worth mentioning that I’m a vegetarian, too.
